Creating a Culture of Democracy
Voice To Power has a mission to create a deeply integrated culture of democracy in
the United States of America at the grassroots level
We believe our country can be the strongest with the most opportunities for its people when it serves for the collective benefit of everyone.
The method for this vision is to have all citizens participating in democracy at various levels in a deeply cultural way, rather than democracy being a compartmentalized and abstract concept where people feel confused, disempowered, and therefore disengaged.
We want the entire population of our country to understand, value and participate in democracy by skillfully using their voice. We aim to make the democratic system easier to understand and join so that our communities strengthen, freedom and justice strengthen and we all help lift each other up.
The Problems
- Lack of education
- Apathy, lack of purpose
- Isolation, lack of belonging
- Community breakdown

- Ability to decipher facts from falsehoods and propoganda
- Empowerment of each individual
- Creating a strong culture of democracy that unites us as a country of people from all walks of life
How VTP Views Police
The Following Remarks Explain Ani’s Personal Opinions And Perspectives On The Police, Specifically Regarding Protest Environments
It’s a complicated political situation, to say the least.
I’d like to preface my official statement by saying that it is my philosophy and practice not to preemptively collaborate with police, on principle. I do not wish to cede any unnecessary authority to police for any kind of legally allowed civic duty/activism.
Police authority and powers need to be kept in check in order for our country to claim to be a free one.
Also, for the record I have not personally witnessed any police brutality during any protests I’ve attended.
